Produced for Uphagen House the historical museum of Gdansk in Poland, the 10 light moulded crystal chandelier was created based solely on one poor image after the original chandelier was lost during the World War II. Using the original image and that of a similar design from the Georgian period, we were able to recreate all the pieces having them blown in a grey tinted glass similar to that used during the Georgian period.
A smaller version of our classic 10 light Thornham Hall chandelier, with 6 plain solid arms wired for electricity. All central crystal shaft pieces were hand blown in the UK and hand cut by Wilkinson’s. Metalwork is finished in English gilt. Receiver bowl which hold the 6 arms has been mirrored to disguise electrical connections.
