Bespoke Glass Makers

Wilkinson Ltd are bespoke glass makers with a number of skilled glassblowers & glass cutters.

All our glass is hand blown onsite at our glasshouse in Sittingbourne, Kent including Carl Nordbruch. 

When an item of glass is lost or broken beyond repair, Wilkinson’s skilled glassblowers and glass cutters can produce a replacement piece.

Their skill is evident in the variety of items they can cut, from fine glassware to chandelier arms, each one in perfect detail using traditional methods. We use hand built machinery and natural stone wheels, that has been the way for 250 years. 

In this example you can see a bowl that is beyond repair, with large pieces of the glass missing. A new glass bowl is blown matching the sizing and thickness of the original, cut to the correct size and attached to the original stem to create a centrepiece that is indistinguishable from the original.
