A pair of 12 branch Adam style chandeliers arranged on two tiers with 6 S shaped candle arms and 6 kick shaped spike arms.
Classic Adam style cutting on crystal stem pieces including traditional Urn shaped piece. Solid lead crystal S and kick arms with four rows of thumb cuts. Beautiful cut ‘Van Dyke’ style crystal pans and nozzles that hold each of the 6 elegant white candles.
All metalwork is made from solid and hand turned brass and finished in a traditional English gilt.

An 8 light Classical Georgian chandelier circa 1750 – 70 previously owned by Mrs Hugh Auchincloss, mother of Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy Onasis. Fully cut stem pieces, arms and finial are dressed with pendant and link pears. Metalwork is finished in silver plate.
