Drumstick Drop also known as a Ball-and-Stem Prism, Column Drop, or Baton Prism.

Emerging in late 18th- and 19th-century European lighting (particularly during the English Regency and Victorian eras), drumstick drops feature an elongated, flat or notch-cut rectangular column terminating in a heavy, faceted spherical bulb—resembling a percussion drumstick.

The long stem was designed to direct light downward along its parallel facets, while the weighted, multi-faceted ball at the base acted as a visual anchor and refracts light into brilliant star-like patterns.

Various styles evolved over time, ranging from plain, clean-cut stems to decorative notch-cut and serrated edges. These drops were widely used along the lower rims of candelabras, mantel lusters, and wall sconces to provide a dramatic vertical drape.

Bohemian Pear Drop also known as a Faceted Teardrop Pendeloque, Pear-Shaped Prism, or Bohemian Cut Drop.

Originating in 18th-century Bohemia (modern-day Czech Republic)—the undisputed epicentre of European mainland glass cutting—bohemian pear drops became defining decorative elements of classical European lighting.  Unlike smooth or plain oval pendeloques, these drops feature broad triangular and diamond facets carved across both faces, tapering smoothly from a wide, rounded base to a narrow top pinhole.  The wide surface area and precision geometric cuts were engineered to maximize light dispersion from early candles and gas jets, casting brilliant, prismatic spectra.

They were widely used on Baroque, Rococo, Maria Theresa, and Neo-Classical chandeliers, adornments on wall sconces, and perimeter cascades on grand palace fixtures.
